Containing the Music

 



Welcome back guys! After filming the first few scenes I decided it was time to find music that could play throughout the video. I will continue to film over the next few weeks, but until I can set a date I am going to research different types of music. I wanted to create a dramatic and  terrifying feeling throughout the video. I researched different songs that would convey this feeling. It was quite difficult to find songs that would not get copyrighted I looked over several days to find the perfect song. I suggested the song "caught somewhere in time". It had a good sense of mystery for our time travel movie. I had to figure out how to get copyrights to use this song in my video. This was quite difficult because I had never done anything like this before. I began to research the record label to which this song belonged. It was written by Steve Harris at Capitol Industries record label. After finding a contact email I sent a message asking for permission to use this song in my video. After a few days of waiting and no response, I decided to find a different contact email. I didn't realize that the process of gaining permission would be so comprehensive. If I don't get a response, I will use the song "silence" by Uniq on youtube which has no copyrights. Thanks for reading and until next time!

When creating the film we I have many things to talk about. I'll talk about getting to the place we film at and how we picked that place. On March 3rd , this was the day I started to began the filming of my movie called "THE KILLS". The film was going to be made after school in which my particular school ends at 2:40 pm and once I got out I was on my way home to first eat and relax for a bit. The reason why I chose to wait a couple minutes after I got home to eat was because I had to wait for my partner who stays 10 minutes from the park we decided to film at and  I only stayed 3 minutes away so basically I was already there. David’s Gatorade Commercial Filming Blog (Part 2)

On October 4th, Monday me and my partner Quincey got ready to film our second shoot for our commercial. As we walked into class we greeted each other and listened to our instructor give the class directions for what was going on today. After this, me and Quincy gathered our materials and grabbed a pass from our teacher to exit class and go to the track to film. Quincy was already in the Apparel need for the commercial so we didn't waste time having to change and we proceeded to the track and field. Once we got to the track, I took of my precious shoes that were white so they wouldn’t get dirty and put on my work shoes along with Quincy to get the best shots and videos possible for maximum results.
