Thee Music Video

As of December 12 Sunday, the music video is finally completed. Me and my partner has finalized all the videos  recorded and transform all of them into one big video. The song chosen was a Hip Hop song made by Bow Wow called “Basketball”. This video includes clips of dribbling, dancing and shooting which is the main components of basketball as well as an music video. The editing app chosen to edit this video was iMovie. iMovie is a great app that allows users to create almost whatever they want to form the video they dreamed of and worked for. It took me 30 min to edit everything and put everything i wanted on there and the right time slots. The clips I inserted all correlate to what I put on the storyboard which was made November 18th in class. It was hard to put the song on the video thru iMovie because of the copyright issue. When I seen this happen, I called my sister who is familiar with the system so she could help me put the song on there. We had to download another app and ad

The masterpiece created is an music video to the song- basketball by Bow Wow.  This music video took 2 weeks to complete. Once we got to the park we decided we wanted to make it as an basketball mixtape just to make things much easier. After everything had been sorted, I grabbed my basketball and began dribbling and stretching to warm up and get the blood flowing through my body. After that, I set my phone on the ground and began acting out the first scene from my narrative board, which had me running up and picking up the camera. The scene was a little difficult due to the camera's weight, but I got it done and the results were satisfactory. After that, we stood beneath the tree for a few minutes because it was starting to get hot and I was dehydrated, so I drank some water. We returned to it when the clouds had obscured the sun and began practicing the second scenario. I was dribbling along the court before coming to a halt at the free-throw line. I eventually got it after 5 tr

De cember 9th  For this production blog I’ll be talking about me in my teammate quincy formulating our ideas and getting ready to record or video. We planning to record at a basketball court near quincy  house. The storyboard is already done so as for the plan we tend to follow each clip. Today we’re just going to make sure we have everything prepared . For today we’re just grouping up and brainstorming ideas for the most part. First we have to make sure that we have a basketball that’s fully pumped. Have all the appropriate actors ready. Making sure that the weather is in our favor. And explaining how we’re going to get certain shots and camera angle. During this team meeting we also went over each other schedules because we both play sports. We went over times where we will be afraid to talk about and do the video. We came to the decision that after school around 6 PM is the best idea. This is because we both come off practicing around that time. 6-8 clock is the hours we plan on d

On November 22nd, this is the day we started to put everything together and get ready to film. First, we had to figure out the park we were going to film the music video because the weather was a little bit off and on in our area. After a couple minutes of strategizing, we decided that the best location would be Shirley small park because it hardly rains in that area. We didn't have a ride to get to the park so I and my partner Quincy had to wait until the next day, which was the 23rd, to go film the beginning of it. The storyboard was already finished because we decided to do it extra early so we can already have a feel for what we wanted. The storyboard includes each scene and they all have a special feature to them that separates them from the rest. The next day, I woke up at 10 am to start the day of gathering my materials and buying the camera to do the filming. I chose to get the camera from my uncle because he sells equipment for businesses and merchandise and they're
