Horror is the right choice

 


Me and partner had 3 genres to choose from to decide which  one is our film going to represent. The first one was thriller which are dark, engrossing, and suspenseful plot-driven stories. The second one was Horror which is a genre of speculated fiction which is intended to frighten, scare, or disgust. The very last choice of genre was comedy which is a genre of fiction that consists of discourses or works intended to be humorous or amusing by inducing laughter, especially in theatre. Now all of these options are one of my favorites when it comes to watching movies. The situation at hand is that unfortunate me and my partner have to limit our options and decide which one where going to film our movie as and represent. With a couples minutes of thinking and arguing the genre we chose to do was Horror. The reason why is because we want our film to scare people and be mysterious. Which will draw people towards watching it and being curious of what's going to happen or might happen. Growing up as a kid, never loved horror movies because they would create images in my head that I didn't like and I thought those creatures would attack me at night. Looking back at it now I can honestly say that making those films are actually the funniest experience ever because of how everything comes full circle. The way you can make somebody scared and frightened is the whole purpose of the film and the most fun part about the job or behind the scenes. Me and my partners Horror film will make the audience laugh as well as be frightened and curious about the mystery. The opening scene will come in as most Horror films do and we have something special planned to achieve this goal we have.

“The Kill” Review changes

 When I think back on the film we made, I'm pleased with it. Making it was the most enjoyable experience I've ever had. It was a lot of fun gathering supplies and equipment for it. For the gruesome scene when the murder occurred, I had to go to Walmart and buy a knife and ketchup. People at the store thought I was insane because a knife and a bottle of ketchup are an unusual combination of items to purchase. I had to explain to those people that it was for a movie, and once they realized the overall picture, they were no longer interested. Thee Music Video

  As of December 12 Sunday, the music video is finally completed. Me and my partner has finalized all the videos  recorded and transform all of them into one big video. The song chosen was a Hip Hop song made by Bow Wow called “Basketball”. This video includes clips of dribbling, dancing and shooting which is the main components of basketball as well as an music video. The editing app chosen to edit this video was iMovie. iMovie is a great app that allows users to create almost whatever they want to form the video they dreamed of and worked for. It took me 30 min to edit everything and put everything i wanted on there and the right time slots. The clips I inserted all correlate to what I put on the storyboard which was made November 18th in class. It was hard to put the song on the video thru iMovie because of the copyright issue. Editing film process

After the conclusion of me filming the project, it was finally time to edit it. I opened up my ipad scrolled down my gallery to like all of the takes that we too from the park so that i can put it all together. After I chose between all of the videos, I asked my partner which platform was the best to put the scenes together and make a video. In about 20 minutes he responded and suggested that iMovie would be the better option because of all the things they have on their app to utilize. Another reason was because we used the app to do our other project and it came out perfectly so its only right to use it again. Once we confirmed to use iMovie, I opened the app and a couple of options popped up about what i wanted to make. The options were to make a movie or trailer and i chose to create a trailer first.
