Here I am




 Hello, my name is David Leconte Jr, and I am a Ft. Lauderdale High School 11th grader. My zodiac sign is Libra, and my birthday is September 29th. One of the reasons I picked media studies is that I'm a really imaginative person, and anytime I play a video game or watch a music video, I'm always curious in what goes on behind the scenes to bring these things to life. As you can see from the preceding statement, I enjoy playing video games as a pastime. I'm also a student-athlete, so I enjoy fashion and athletics. I've always loved sports since I've played them and been around them my entire life. This causes me to be more enthused about playing it than the ordinary individual. In the year 2004, I was born in Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. I spent 14 years of my childhood in Miami before moving to Ft. Lauderdale when I was 15 years old. Making that movie was difficult for me because I had no idea what to expect: meeting new people, making new acquaintances, and moving to a new neighborhood. It was a lot to take in and adjust to, but I managed to make it work until I felt more at ease being myself and having fun here. I am the youngest of four siblings, three of whom are boys and one of whom is a female. For This school year, my goals are to pass every subject I'm taking, including the large SAT and AICE examinations, develop more interpersonal relationships, and maintain a 4.0 GPA. With the covid epidemic last year, everyone had a difficult year. Millions of people perished, and it didn't appear that things would get any better, especially given the poor rate of vaccine development. Although online school in quarantine had some advantages, it was truly terrible. With the quantity of work that was assigned and daily school team meetings, being locked in a room all day doing work was exhausting and mentally demanding. We managed to get through it and are now at a point where covid isn't as much of a pain in the bottom as it was before the arrival of immunizations. Nobody expected us to get to this stage, yet it took trust and faith to achieve these goals and remain in school. I'm excited to go on this adventure with you and everyone I know, and I hope we can continue to improve and protect one another throughout the school year. “The Kill” Review changes

 When I think back on the film we made, I'm pleased with it. Making it was the most enjoyable experience I've ever had. It was a lot of fun gathering supplies and equipment for it. For the gruesome scene when the murder occurred, I had to go to Walmart and buy a knife and ketchup. People at the store thought I was insane because a knife and a bottle of ketchup are an unusual combination of items to purchase. I had to explain to those people that it was for a movie, and once they realized the overall picture, they were no longer interested. In the spring, my partner Quincy Esta had a lot going on in his life from Track and Field season to Aice coursework, which took a mental toll on him and continues to do so. Thee Music Video

  As of December 12 Sunday, the music video is finally completed. Me and my partner has finalized all the videos  recorded and transform all of them into one big video. The song chosen was a Hip Hop song made by Bow Wow called “Basketball”. This video includes clips of dribbling, dancing and shooting which is the main components of basketball as well as an music video. The editing app chosen to edit this video was iMovie. iMovie is a great app that allows users to create almost whatever they want to form the video they dreamed of and worked for. It took me 30 min to edit everything and put everything i wanted on there and the right time slots. The clips I inserted all correlate to what I put on the storyboard which was made November 18th in class. It was hard to put the song on the video thru iMovie because of the copyright issue. Editing film process

After the conclusion of me filming the project, it was finally time to edit it. I opened up my ipad scrolled down my gallery to like all of the takes that we too from the park so that i can put it all together. After I chose between all of the videos, I asked my partner which platform was the best to put the scenes together and make a video. In about 20 minutes he responded and suggested that iMovie would be the better option because of all the things they have on their app to utilize. Another reason was because we used the app to do our other project and it came out perfectly so its only right to use it again. Once we confirmed to use iMovie, I opened the app and a couple of options popped up about what i wanted to make. The options were to make a movie or trailer and i chose to create a trailer first.
