Creative Critical Reflection
How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?
My Gatorade product uses conventions to hydrate and refuel Athletes and individuals who are actively working out or performing high-energy activities so they can reach that next level. I don't think my product is in that category for being involved in social groups.
2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?
My product will influence people to want to drink it to be refuelled and re-energized which will make them 120% more harder while they’re doing tiring activities. This will be distributed through ad’s, billboards, posters, blimps, etc.
How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
This project really just made me have to think out of the box and be creative in the way I wanted it to be. I knew that doing something little wouldn’t be enough to satisfy me so I had to structure the commercial with every scene having a meaning and purpose to get the best results possible.
4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?
I watched Gatorade commercials to see how an original ad for them would be like, which made me utilize my Iphone 13 to film the scenes at 4k and finally edit through Imovie.
