Filming Process part 2

When creating the film we I have many things to talk about. I'll talk about getting to the place we film at and how we picked that place. On March 3rd , this was the day I started to began the filming of my movie called "THE KILLS". The film was going to be made after school in which my particular school ends at 2:40 pm and once I got out I was on my way home to first eat and relax for a bit. The reason why I chose to wait a couple minutes after I got home to eat was because I had to wait for my partner who stays 10 minutes from the park we decided to film at and  I only stayed 3 minutes away so basically I was already there. Once I got the text from my partner stating that he was close to the park, I began to gather the equipment and utilizes then started walking on my way to the park. On the way there, I forgot to bring the knife that was a important piece for the movie because it was about a killer in the neighborhood doing murders. So I retraced back to my house an grabbed the knife really fast to get back to the park on time. I got to the park at 4:10 and when I was walking in I had seen my partner and a couples other friends. I greeted them and talked to my partner about the equipment and roles being played in the film. After that was done I began to the film the beginning of the movie in which it included me walking into the park with my backpack on and basketball in my right hand. Once this was done, my partner began to record me warming up taking jump shots with my back pack still on and performing practice dribble moves. I had to take off the backpack after because it was too heavy which influenced me to get tired fast after the warmup while filming. After the shots were taken, I reviewed them while I sat on the bench on my phone and decided which ones were film ready and wasn't film ready. The ones that weren't chosen were deleted because the camera was shaky while recording which made the video blurry and I don't like watching blurry films where I cant see the production so that's why they weren't chosen. Once I was done choosing the perfect recordings, it was time to film the second part of the scene which now included the killer. I had to to record the killer as he approached the park in the first scene roaming around looking for a target. Once the target was found, I began to zoom into the knife that was in his hand to give a better look at the weapon being used and then I zoomed out to get a close shot of the killer's stance as he was looking at the individual shoot hoops. The killer then began to walked towards the victim in a very stealthy manner and I was recording this in a mid level angle all until the murder occurred. Once it was time for the victim to get stabbed, I had to switch from the filming position into the acting position so the killer can stab me and I can act out the suffering scene. With this killing in action I had to grab the ketchup and put it on the attire i was in and on the ground. At first I wasn't all on board with this idea because I didn't want to smell like ketchup but, into for the film to be done right I had to do what I had to do so I did it and told my partner to record it. Once the stabbing was done I gathered all of our belongings and was ready to review the recordings made to put together for the film.
