Thee Music Video
As of December 12 Sunday, the music video is finally completed. Me and my partner has finalized all the videos recorded and transform all of them into one big video. The song chosen was a Hip Hop song made by Bow Wow called “Basketball”. This video includes clips of dribbling, dancing and shooting which is the main components of basketball as well as an music video. The editing app chosen to edit this video was iMovie. iMovie is a great app that allows users to create almost whatever they want to form the video they dreamed of and worked for. It took me 30 min to edit everything and put everything i wanted on there and the right time slots. The clips I inserted all correlate to what I put on the storyboard which was made November 18th in class. It was hard to put the song on the video thru iMovie because of the copyright issue. When I seen this happen, I called my sister who is familiar with the system so she could help me put the song on there. We had to download another app and add the song off of there because it was easier to critique without all the copyrights. Once we put the song on there, the video was so in sync I got so happy and started dancing in joy lol. Its good when everything just goes well with a project you have been working on for so long. When we got to the park the sun was going down so we really didn’t have that much sunlight but we made it work. With videos, they come out a lot better and in higher quality when there is sunlight present while recording. When its dark the frame rate drops and the quality of a video or image goes down which makes it hard to record and the camera to focus. Ultimately we made it work and we had to go into space where there was sun just so we can maximize the opportunity and time we had. The reason why I chose to just insert the Kobe clip instead of my nephew was because my nephew got sick on that week so he couldn’t come over. He wasn't gonna be able to focus and help me with the video lol so i just said never mind. For the most part I’m happy with this masterpiece and im happy to do plenty more in the future. RIP KOBE.
